Ohio State football quarterback Devin Brown to be out for spring game
Quarterback Devin Brown won’t be available for Ohio State’s spring game on Saturday, coach Ryan Day said.for the starting job, underwent a medical procedure on a finger on his right throwing hand on Wednesday.
The surgery isn’t likely to sideline Brown for a long period of time. Day added Brown will resume throwing soon and expects him to make a recovery ahead of preseason training camp in August, but he is missing the remaining spring practices this week.The injury to Brown was not an issue that had been lingering, but “something happened” to him in the previous days, according to Day.at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Brown appeared healthy and split reps with McCord with the first-team offense.
