Last week, the state announced that it was changing its daily updates to the COVID-19 dashboard to weekly updates on Thursdays. This past week's total averages to 515 new cases per day, over seven days.

A total of 7,266,570 Ohioans have received at least one vaccination, representing about 66% of Ohioans age 5 and up.

Since the beginning of 2021, there have been 22,807 deaths among people reported as unvaccinated, and 1,180 among people reported to be fully vaccinated. And there have been 65,108 hospitalized Ohioans who were not fully vaccinated, and 4,410 fully vaccinated people hospitalized.The total cases being reported recently likely are understated, as some people do not report at-home tests and others may not be testing at all.* Total reported hospitalizations: 113,379, up 309.
