Preparations for the big race continued downtown on Saturday, kicking off with a run for kids and a 5K., but volunteers battled the rain on Saturday with smiles. The marathon starts downtown in the Arena District, and runners going for the full marathon will be running through the Short North and through Upper Arlington before crossing the finish line.
