Officials ID 16-year-old girl found shot dead in a car near Pearsall Park
A 16-year-old girl was shot and killed outside a residence in the 5100 block of Warhorse Drive on May 10, 2022.Officials have identified the 16-year-old girl who was shot and killed early Tuesday morning as Naveah Martinez.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner said Martinez died from a gunshot wound to the head. She had just turned 16 days before she was killed. Police said Martinez was found shot dead in a stolen vehicle outside a residence near her home in the 5100 block of War Horse Drive near Pearsall Park just after 12:30 a.m.
Witnesses said something may have happened at another home a few blocks away that led to the shooting.
