As seen in this week’s Russell Township police blotter, residents reported a suspicious person 11:55 p.m. Aug. 16 and 1:56 a.m. Aug. 17 on different streets. Officers investigated a complaint of a political flag attached to a utility pole creating a traffic hazard at the intersection of Kinsman and Caves roads.
Police responded 11:55 p.m. Aug. 16 to a home near Belle Vernon Drive for a report of a suspicious person.Officers were called 1:56 a.m. Aug. 17 to a home near Caves Road for a report of a suspicious person.Investigating a complaint 2:39 p.m. Aug. 22 of a political flag posted on a utility pole in the road right-of-way at the corner of Caves Road, an officer noted that the pole is owned by the utility company. The unwanted item must be removed by CEI.
