Former NFL player Odell Beckham Jr. caused an American Airlines flight to be delayed Sunday when he had to be removed from the plane.
Beckham was traveling from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California but would not put on his seat belt. Flight attendants responded by getting officers from the Miami Dade Police Department dispatched to the scene on the runway.
"The flight crew was concerned for a passenger , as they tried to wake him to fasten his seat belt, he appeared to be coming in and out of consciousness, prior to their departure," MDPD wrote in a statement."Fearing that Mr. Beckham was seriously ill, and that his condition would worsen through the expected 5 hour flight, the attendants called for police and fire rescue. Upon the officers arrival, the flight crew asked Mr.
"Never in my life have I experienced what just happened to me… I’ve seen it alll.." During the game, he suffered an ACL injury and has yet to return to the game.
