Despite being a force for good in all of his Star Wars appearances, Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi actually used a Sith technique during the Battle of Heroes.
During the climactic battle at the end of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi shockingly used a dark side move against Anakin Skywalker. Throughout much of George Lucas’ prequel trilogy, the line between the light and dark sides of the Force was blurred. Be it because of Anakin’s fall to the dark side or the controversial involvement of the Jedi Order in the Clone Wars, the power of the dark side often clouded the Jedi Order in the waning days of the Republic.
Obi-Wan Used Mou Kei Against Anakin On Mustafar The Sith technique that Obi-Wan utilized in Revenge of the Sith was called Mou Kei. Mou Kei is a technique specific to lightsaber combat, one that is often forbidden by Jedi Knights. In Star Wars Legends, Mou Kei was described as a lightsaber move that struck multiple points of contact on an opponent, removing various limbs in the process.
