Liam and Noel Gallagher are rumoured to be reuniting as Oasis in 2025 - here's what we know
Whispers of an Oasis reunion are par for the course in terms of Manchester's musical landscape, but in recent days the rumour mill has gone into overdrive.
Leaving not-so subtle clues on social media, the former frontman has told fans he'll see them 'down the front', and told them to 'enjoy' one day at time when suggesting dates when an announcement could be due.Brothers Liam and Noel were a part of the famed Britpop group, formed in the 1990s before they split in 2009, prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
Further to this, we understand that tickets could go on sale within the next seven days following an announcement penned for the start of the week. Tickets are set to be priced over the £100 mark for each. Understandably, for a comeback of this size, Manchester City Council and the relevant planning bodies would need to be consulted but we understand Non Disclosure Agreements have been signed.
It comes ahead of the 30th anniversary of Oasis' seminal debut album Definitely Maybe next week, and Noel Gallagher even praised his younger brother's singing during an interview at legendary Manchester record shop Sifters in Burnage where the pair were regulars back in the day.
