Burnley's hero plumber, James Anderson, has come to the aid of another pension who has gone years without heating.
The 89-year-old man called Billy was reportedly living without heating for three years. After one of the most bitter winters the UK has experienced, James explained how the elderly gentleman had 'given up'.James explained the huge cost Billy faces to get a new boiler. He adds that the pensioner has found himself ineligible for a free boiler scheme.
"Billy is 89 years old, he has not had any heating for 3 years!! He applied for a boiler, but because he is £2.78 over and has solid floors, he has to pay £950 towards the cost, money he has not got@!" He wrote: "Billy has given up, he does not care anymore he said to me that he wants to go to his mother, she had all the answersIn a second Tweet, James revealed how Billy will finally get his boiler ad his three years of no heating can come to an end.
