The 3400 Telegraph Ave. Walgreens will close on Tuesday, Nov. 8, according to a sign posted outside the store. A Walgreens representative confirmed the closure to SFGATE."As we move forward on our strategy to expand Walgreens role as a leader in the delivery of healthcare, we are focused on creating the right network of stores in the right locations to best meet the needs of the communities we serve," read the statement from Walgreens.
Pharmacy files will be automatically transferred to the nearest Walgreens, which is located a mile away at 5055 Telegraph Ave. in Oakland.
