Oakland: Two men shot in East Oakland neighborhood
The shooting happened about 1:40 p.m. Sunday in the area of East 18th Street and Rosedale Avenue, a mainly residential area.
The killing is the tenth homicide investigated by Oakland police this year. Last year, police had investigated the same number of homicides in the city by Feb. 5.Another man was shot in the leg. He was in stable condition.Police were trying to determine if the men were shot by someone in a passing vehicle or by someone on the street.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
