A man was injured in a shooting Sunday night in an East Oakland neighborhood, authorities said.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police responded to calls reporting a possible shooting near Fruitvale Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard in the city’s Dimond district.
When officers arrived, they found a man in the 2100 block of MacArthur suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his back and provided care until first responders could transport him to a hospital.Investigators did not share any motives or word of any suspects in custody and did not release any suspect or associated vehicle description.
