2020 graduates could design avatars and interact with each other in blocky version of New York City hotspots, but very few people showed up. I was then dropped into an empty Washington Square Park. I flew my avatar around, listening to the game's soundtrack: ambient city traffic sounds and a melancholy harp.After a few minutes, another member of the class of 2020 joined my server. Their display name was "zhanggggggggg," and they had chosen the same purple-robed avatar as me. I decided to chat them up. "same here. i thought there would be more people lol," they replied.
