The White House had still not provided any details Thursday of the liaison it promised to assist New York City with its crippling migrant surge — a full week after pledging to send help.

The radio silence has further insulted Big Apple leaders, who have already blasted the paltry offer as pathetic.

“We could use a whole lot more than a staffer and if we get a staffer we need a staffer with a plan.” Mayor Eric Adams — who is not related to the speaker — met with Mayorkas last Thursday, who vowed to send someone to help manage the thousands of migrants being housed and fed on New York’s dime.Adams accepted the offer but emphasized that what the Big Apple really needs is more than $4 billion of federal funds to cover the cost of this.Migrants pictured living on the sidewalks outside Manhattan’s Roosevelt Hotel Monday.

However, a DHS staffer in Texas, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said New York City — with its liberal leaders and policies — has brought it upon themselves.
