The jackpot reset after a single ticket won a huge amount of money earlier in the week. However, the new amount was ready to be won by a Powerball ticket holder.
On Monday, a single ticket-holder won the massive prize of $699.8 million, meaning Wednesday's numbers reset the jackpot to $20 million.
The first five numbers for the Powerball draw on Wednesday were 01-17-52-58-64, with a Powerball number of 01 and a mega Power Play of 10x. Sadly, none of the top three prizes were won with a Power Play, meaning there were no multiplications available. The second prize winner on Wednesday was based in Pennsylvania, while the third-prize ticket-holders were in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey and Texas.
