U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Texas found the pumpkins stuffed with they believe is liquid methamphetamine concealed within 136 condoms at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Office of Field Operations at Eagle Pass Port of Entry in Texas knew better.
“Our frontline CBP officers have seen just about everything and this Tuesday was no exception as they encountered liquid methamphetamine hidden within pumpkins,” said Port Director Elizabeth Garduno, Eagle Pass Port of Entry, in a news release. “They utilized their training, experience, interviewing skills and uncovered a rather novel narcotics smuggling method in the process.”
