... [+], one of Norway’s best-selling newspapers, was forced to take its popular website offline for a few hours last week as suspected hackers inserted false stories and quotes, including a pro-pedophilia comment attributed to Norway’s Prime Minister, Erna Solberg. One person has been arrested.
The newspaper’s owners Aller Media chose to close the dagbladet.no website along with sister sites Din Side and Seher.no while the issue was investigated.confirmed it suspects hacking “We now believe that we have identified the problem and we have no reason to believe that there is more unwanted content on our pages. We have been working throughout the evening to map the scope, and have begun extensive work to resolve this,” said Sørsdahl.in connection with the case. The accused is described as a youth who is resident near Oslo. Police have seized computer equipment and will investigate the matter further.
He said that Prime Minister Erna Solberg had been informed of the incident, but he declined to comment on Solberg’s personal reaction."It is very serious that such gross and false accusations are directed at the prime minister on one of Norway's most widely read websites," he said.Sørsdahl emphasized that Aller Media is constantly working to strengthen security, and had recently begun to implement new security measures.
