CLEVELAND, Ohio - Following a breezy day with scattered showers and storms on Saturday, the weather improves tremendously for today. Morning clouds to the east will give way to mostly sunny conditions for all locations this afternoon. Temperatures remain cool with a lighter breeze. The warmth surges back briefly on Monday before another system brings cooler air and renewed rain chances for the middle of the week.
Expect a gradual decrease in clouds throughout the day as high temperatures rise to the mid 60s. A northwest breeze will be between 5 and 10 mph. There is yet another chance to see the northern lights as another geomagnetic storm is in the forecast. For best viewing, head away from city lights, and look to the northern sky between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Now, this is not expected to be nearly as strong of a storm as Friday night, and the updated projection takes the view line even farther north, so the lights may not be very vivid and appear lower on the horizon.Monday will be mostly sunny and mostly dry outside of an isolated shower or two.
