A few of the largest school districts in North Texas are holding back-to-school events this week to give their students a one-stop shop for supplies and services.
will start the school year on Aug. 14. Many other local districts will have their first day either next week or the following week.The Dallas Mayor's Back to School Fair is off to a great start this morning. Thousands of families are getting help as they get ready for the new school year.
It’s a chance for the city and school district to come together to support the community and give local students a head start. Many families lined up early for the event. They’ve attended for years and said it’s really helpful because they, like other families, don’t always have what they need when the school year rolls around.
