ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — More food, stuffed what people believe to be poison, has been found in Airport Heights in the last week, causing a number of residents to be concerned.
“We’d been avoiding the trails and sticking to the roads, thinking it was safer, because on the trail, if someone's doing it, the trees offer a little bit more privacy," she said. “I told her to drop it, and she stopped chewing because she swallowed it or because she dropped whatever she had in her mouth,” she said.
Poison stuffed sausages were found spread across walking trails in Airport Heights posing risk for animals and children. - Kimberly HebbWarr ran back to her house and immediately brought her dogs to a vet, who induced vomiting in both dogs, just in case.Facebook group“When we got out of there, I went right back to where we found it. Warr reported the incident to the city, and the woman who lived in the house near where the wieners were found reported it to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.Jill Bruce, the city councillor for the area, told SaltWire she had gotten reports of it more recently and, like everyone else, she had hoped it had stopped after the first incident a few weeks ago.
