The Florida Highway Patrol reported that at approximately 7:55 a.m. Sunday morning, a sedan and a pick-up truck were involved in a minor traffic crash at the intersection between State Road 16 and Inman Rd, which is near St. Augustine.

According to FHP, the 47-year-old sedan driver drove through a red light when he was hit by the 50-year-old driver of the pick-up truck, who was turning. Upon collision, the sedan came to a rest in a ditch on the right shoulder, and the pick-up truck spun to block eastbound traffic.

Both drivers experienced minor injuries. The sedan driver transported himself to CareFast+, and the pick-up truck driver was transported to Baptist Medical Center South for treatment.
