Cy Falls started the game on a 5-0 run with a 3-pointer from junior forward Daylon Porter and a slam dunk from University of Houston signee Joseph Tugler. Senior post Jason Cottonham scored eight of his 11 points in the third quarter, but the Mustangs only managed to cut Cy Falls’ lead to six in the quarter.
