Caven Point peninsula at Liberty State ParkState Sen. Brian Stack, one of the sponsors of a controversial bill to redevelop Liberty State Park, announced Tuesday afternoon he’ll sponsor a bill to protect Caven Point Peninsula.
The Liberty State Park Conservation, Recreation, and Community Inclusion Act, which is expected to be voted on this week, does not include language that protects the environmental haven from privatization. A bid to have specific language included was rejected.
