The high jinks-filled sitcom ran from 1951 to 1957 and has endeared new generations of viewers since then in syndication. But the backstage turmoil was far from the picturesque union she and Arnaz portrayed on TV.Nicole Kidman, whose casting as Lucille Ball raised eyebrows, says she’s not remaking ‘I Love Lucy.’ Her biopic is a ‘very deep’ story about a marriage.
