Lancashire Police have revealed they are following 500 lines of inquiry and contacting 700 motorists in the search for missing Inskip woman Nicola Bulley
The 45-year-old was last seen walking her dog by the river in St Michael’s on Wyre on Friday 27 January.
Officer remain convinced Nicola has sadly fallen into the water, but say they are “fully open-minded” to any new information. At a press conference today , Supt Sally Riley said 40 detectives working on the case have received thousands of pieces of information from members of the public.Supt Sally Riley said: “This is normal in a missing person inquiry and does not indicate that there is any suspicious element to this story.
“The inquiry team remains fully open-minded to any information that may indicate where Nicola is or what happened to her.”Police have urged drivers and cyclists who were in the area on the day Nicola disappeared to get in contact and assist with dashcam footage where possible..
