'I thought I was going to find her and see her and then I got that call' 💔
The partner of missing Nicola Bulley spoke of the moment he realised she was missing as he renewed pleas for anyone who knows anything about her disappearance to come forward.
Over the last two weeks, police have been searching the River Wyre, where she was last seen next to, with specialists brought in to help the operation. That search has since stretched to where the river meets the Irish Sea but Paul says his initial gut instinct was that Nicola did not fall into the water.
Paul ran down the river looking for her, he was handed the dog Willow by another walker who found her, they also gave Paul Nicola's phone which was still logged into a work call. Paul says there are currently no way of explaining what has happened to Nicola. “I thought I was going to find her and see her and then I got that call. Got in the car, drove down her, ran down the river, somebody handed me, Willow, handed me Nicky’s phone and I expected to look around and there she is.
