--On Louisiana-Monroe Saban cited improvement at the quarterback position and “fundamental football.”--Saban referenced the team’s penalty report that allows players to see the infractions committed in practice. To prevent the 15 committed last week, Saban reinforced the need for “discipline.” --”History doesn’t seem to be on the forefront sometimes,” Saban said when asked if he references the 2007 upset loss to Louisiana-Monroe to current players.--”It never got explained very well,” Saban said of the controversial targeting call that led to a non-safety in the third quarter against Texas. “I’m not complaining.”
--Saban said he has confidence in cornerback Terrion Arnold after rotating him into the starting unit against Texas.
