Alabama coach Nick Saban expressed his dismay with his team’s lack of discipline, saying that the program needs to clean up its play moving forward
in Austin on Saturday, claiming a 20–19 victory and staving off an upset bid thanks to a heroic final drive by Bryce Young.
The Tide ended the game with 15 penalties, all of which took place in the first three quarters, resulting in 100 total penalty yards.On the other hand, Texas notched just five penalties for thirty yards in the loss.After the Tide narrowly pulled out the win, Saban expressed his dismay with his team’s lack of discipline, saying that the program needs to clean up its play moving forward.
“You gotta give Texas a lot of credit. Sark’s done a great job here, they’ve got a good team. We just got to play better.”
