McAfee, the animated college football analyst, was stopped in his tracks during his break down of Georgia’s offensive weapons, including quarterback Carson Beck and running back Travis Etienne, when the 72-year-old former Alabama coach raised his hand, surprising McAfee.“ Jalen Milroe,” Saban demanded, “creates tremendous problems for any defense. So, figure out how to stop that running back.”
It drew a hilarious reaction. McAfee predicts both offenses get going today when the two teams meet, but he admits Kalen DeBoer’s offense has been more consistent. The moment was not lost on Kirk Herbstreit, who asked how great it was to see Saban be a fan of his former team..
