The coming week looks set to get off to a dry start before some colder and wetter weather sweeps in, forecasters say.
While the beginning of the new working week will bring some sunny spells, little sunshine will be on offer in the coming days.
Wednesday will continue breezy with a few showers or spells of rain, which could be heavy in places. Thursday will bring rain to start the day but it will not be as windy. It will soon turn drier in the afternoon but remaining cloudy. Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Cold and windy with showers on Tuesday, wintry over high ground. Winds and showers easing on Wednesday. Turning milder with some rain on Thursday.
