Over the past few months, Irish Academy Members have been busy viewing, deliberating, and shortlisting the very best work from across great Irish films, dramas, performances, and craftsmanship from the past year.
With films and stars from both sides of the border being recognised on the worldwide stage at the likes of the Oscars this year, it is no surprise these names have been selected for the top accolades.Northern Irish actors, writers and directors have been nominated across four major categories at this year's Irish Film and Television Awards.Irish Film and Television Academy CEO, Áine Moriarty said: "What an exciting time right now for the Irish screen industry.
