Matthew Stuart died following a motorcycle accident in April 2020

The brother of a Co Down man who died in a tragic motorcycle accident is to take on the four peaks challenge in an effort to raise funds for the Air Ambulance.

The Air Ambulance was called to the incident, but despite the efforts of the paramedics at the scene, Matthew passed away from his injuries. His brother Richard Stuart is now looking to give back to the charity in memory of Matthew and is taking part in the four peaks challenge in order to raise much needed funding for it.

He said the fundraiser is a way for him to celebrate his brother's life, with him planning for it to be completed on April 18 - which would have been Matthew's 40th birthday. "Due to the restrictions that were in place at the time, we felt that we were not able to give him the send off that he deserved because he had so many friends that were unable to attend the funeral or see him one last time.
