Francis Ngannou has opened up on his exit from the UFC, saying negotiations broke down over more than money.that Ngannou had been ‘released’, with Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane fighting for the now vacant heavyweight title.The 36-year-old had not fought since January after recovery from a knee injury and allowed his contract to expire.The now former UFC fighter has given his own version of the story to“I watched part of it and at some point I stopped watching.
“It was a multi-fight deal. I was for three fights. They said they would give that exception for me. No extension. Ngannou also said the contract negotiations were about more than money.
