If Vegas oddsmakers are correct — and there’s a reason those casinos are huge and luxurious — then football fans are in for a treat this weekend.

All four teams have legitimate reasons for confidence Sunday:

Mahomes gets a lot of the publicity, but he also has help. Tight end Travis Kelce is among the game's elite while defensive tackle Chris Jones had 15 1/2 sacks this season. Also, the game is in Philadelphia. That's a place where fans can get a little — what's the polite word — enthusiastic? In the end, all the Atlanta hypotheticals weren't needed. That's because the Bengals and Burrow are rolling. Cincinnati beat Buffalo 27-10 and is one win away from playing in a second straight Super Bowl.

Lawsuit: Vegas Strip resorts used vendor to fix hotel ratesLawsuit: Vegas Strip resorts used vendor to fix hotel ratesA federal lawsuit in Nevada is seeking class-action damages for countless hotel patrons who booked rooms in Las Vegas since 2019, alleging that most hotel-casinos on the Las Vegas Strip have used a third-party vendor to illegally fix prices. The complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas alleges that casino giants MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment, along with Treasure Island and Wynn Resorts, share information with a company that used pricing algorithms to “maximize market-wide prices.” It accuses the resorts and Rainmaker Group Unlimited, a revenue management company owned by Cendyn Group, of “algorithmic-driven price-fixing … at the expense of consumers and in violation of antitrust laws.”
