What is the Rangers’ plan for you regarding catching, DH’ing and possibly playing first base this year?“I’m not sure. We haven’t talked specifics on playing time or where I’ll be playing or what I’ll be playing. The most important thing is just really getting in shape because of the shortened spring training, it’s going to be a challenge anyways for guys to get enough at-bats and get on their feet enough and kind of work out those early kinks that come along with the season.
From an outsider’s perspective, what was your thought, what was your perspective on this club? Last year was tough, it was a very tough season for fans and for I know a lot of the players. But, up there from Minnesota when you were looking down at Texas, what were you thinking about this club?“First of all, I’ve been in that situation before. In 2018, we didn’t have our greatest showing.
