NewJeans Achieves 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Female Artist In Hanteo History With “Get Up”
Last week, NewJeans made their highly-anticipated comeback with their new mini album “” on July 21—and by the end of the day, the mini album had already soared past 1.1 million sales, making it the group’s first album ever to sell over a million copies within its first week.
Hanteo Chart has now reported that “Get Up” went on to sell an impressive total of 1,650,181 copies in the first week of its release , more than doubling NewJeans’ previous first-week sales record of 701,241 . With this achievement, NewJeans has become the female artist with the second-highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, bested only by
