JOHN'S, N.L. — Torbay's Lily Evans and Clarenville's Mark Butt have won a bronze medal in figure skating pre-novice pairs at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in P.E.I.
After their medal wins, Evans expressed excitement to share her achievement with her friends at Holy Trinity High. “Yesterday I had a great birthday celebration with all of the Team N.L. members, and when I woke up today, it was just do or die," said Butt."I was nervous but super excited to be here at the games and willing to do our best, and we came out on the right side of it.”
