Newark had the second most flight cancellations of the major airports in the U.S, data shows.

Newark Liberty International Airport ranks second worst for flight cancellations through the first nine months of this year at major U.S. airports, according to the latest federal Department of Transportation data. From January to September, 5.8% of the 95,869 flights scheduled to depart Newark airport were canceled, the data showed.
