New York City Schools moved to remote learning Tuesday due to the winter storm.

The brunt of the storm is expected when most children would be making their way to school.NEW YORK --

"With several inches of snow, poor visibility on the roads, and possible coastal flooding heading our way, New Yorkers should prepare in advance of storm and take the necessary precautions to remain safe," New York City Mayor Eric Adams said in a statement. "If you do not have to be on the roads , please stay home."Lucy Yang is in Brooklyn with more.
