About one in 10 New York City public-school students lived in shelters or other temporary housing in the last school year, a rate that has remained stubbornly high
City district and charter schools had 114,085 students without their own homes at some point last year, topping 100,000 for the fourth year in a row,
according to state data released in a report Monday from Advocates for Children of New York, a nonprofit seeking better services for the disadvantaged.
