Chris Fahey, The Abundant Harvest KitchenA bistro debuting in the Spring area this summer plans to give 100 percent of its proceeds to charity.
“This really is a new idea for us,” Steele said about the bistro. “We are super hopeful because we have the right team and I think when we pull this off, were going to continue to feed and serve hundreds of families in our community and provide them hope and life.” “Is there a way for us to create a service that ultimately could be taxable, because it’s outside of our core business area, but when it does start to turn to profit then all of those profits are going to funnel back into the nonprofit,” explained Chris Fahey, Abundant Harvest communications manager.
“ the most personal thing you could do for someone. …It's a very personal thing for me and it's kind of natural to make people happy and bring people together through food,” he said.
