A powerful new feature upgrade is coming to the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
reveals how new AI-based capabilities will power a significant part of that quality improvement. According to the well-known leaker, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has added a new “AI detail enhancement” button which will give your photos “more details, colors and brightness” than ordinary 108-megapixel shots.
While any upgrade in quality is always welcome, it appears that at least some of the S22 Ultra’s quality improvements will require the user to tap a button and wait for additional processing to complete. This isn’t an option I can see most users using on the majority of their photos. However, the same could be said of the 108-megapixel mode in general, which is typically selected only in rare circumstances where ultra-high levels of detail are required.
