Two weeks on since welcoming her daughter Bambi into the world, Molly-Mae Hague has shared a candid video that delves into the intimate details of her birth story and experience

Two weeks on from welcoming her first child, Bambi Fury, into the world, Molly-Mae Hague has taken to her Youtube channel to share an intimate and emotional look at her first few weeks as a new mum.

Although Molly herself seemed confused as to whether she was allowed to say she was “exclusively breastfeeding” since she also pumps, she did confirm that breast milk was all that her little one was eating, or would be fed for the foreseeable future.Another notable revelation to come out of the video, was Molly’s uncertainty about how much of her little girl’s life she wanted to share with the world.

This was especially true for the first week of Bambi's life, when Molly admitted: "from the minute I gave birth on the Monday night until day 5, I didn’t sleep a single hour. It was this awareness that lead the former Love Island star to refrain from putting too much pressure on herself about connecting with Bambi immediately after she was born.

“There’s literally nothing on this planet I wouldn’t do for her. I would literally take a bullet for her,” admitted the doting mum.“It sounds terrible but especially for that first period, you don’t matter anymore. For me, that’s how I felt. You literally feel like you don’t matter anymore and all that matters is them, and making them happy and making sure they’re comfortable.

"And I know it is, definitely unique and not going to be to everyone’s taste. So when we announced it, in my mind, it’s just like this beautiful thing, that’s just her! She’s Bambi.” “Now the craziest part about this, is how the whole day I kept saying to them, she’s a really quiet baby in the days. I’ve never really felt Bambi move in the day, and I always put that down to the fact I had an anterior placenta.”

“So at 4pm, the word caesarian was mentioned and she was like, ‘it’s a possibility that you might have to go in for a c-section’ if baby girl doesn’t perk up.” An epidural is an anaesthetic injection given into the space surrounding the spinal cord, this temporarily numbs the area and is mostly used to help combat the pain of child birth, without diminishing the sensations associated with it.“I’d push really hard, I could still feel Bambi’s head coming out of my vagina. I could feel it sliding out of me, but I wasn’t feeling any pain. It was incredible.”
