La Diabla Retro Bar by La Calle is opening Dec. 15 in downtown Market Square featuring tequila, cocktails, live music and 32-ounce beers.

Envisioned as an ’80s and ’90s-inspired nightclub and bar, La Diabla will take up residence in a 4,000-square-foot space at 300 Main that once housed Boomtown Coffee.With space for 200 guests , pina coladas, micheladas, shots, and caguamas . A snack menu offers a trio of flautas: chicken, pork and potato cheese.
La Diabla will be open Thursday through Saturday 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will be live music nightly as well as a deejay spinning Mexican classics. The bar, according to the owner, is built for singalongs.“We are serious about fresh ingredients, Mexico City, music, and good times,” said La Diabla co-owner Ramon Soriano, who created the menus and vision alongside co-owner Fernano Villegas. “We are 80s guys, and we love the way the music of that decade is connecting with a new generation.
