First-time entrepreneurs and husband-and-wife-team Kai Tan and Luisa Leon hopes their new location will make mental health services in Pearland more accessible.
The three professionals currently serving at the clinic are Brittany Lewis, a licensed professional counselor with expertise in working with teens and young adults; Jordan Green, a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in medical trauma and social need; and Rachel Liao, a licensed marriage and family therapy associate.
The Pearland clinic has eight rooms and serves individuals ranging in age from 5 years old to senior citizens. “When people hear ‘franchise,’ they think of fast food,” Tan said. “But we do not want to do fast food. We want something more meaningful. Ellie Mental Health is our next adventure.”, which Tan said is expected to become available within the next few years.
