A resident received a call from someone claiming to be an officer and demanding payment.
SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio - New Franklin police are reminding residents they will never call them to solicit payments for outstanding warrants or unpaid fines.
New Franklin police posted the warning on their Facebook page after a woman told officers she was contacted by someone claiming to be a Detective Miller. The phone number showed up as the New Franklin police department number, but the woman said “something did not make sense,” so she ended the call and called the department directly.Injury analyst on Deshaun Watson: ‘I think the Browns are holding something back here’
