According to multiple reports, Morris died from coronary heart disease with drug and alcohol use listed as contributing factors. Along with the alcohol, the medical examiner reportedly listed cocaine and hydrocodone as “contributing conditions,” according to People Magazine.“With great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Darius Aaron Morris,” it read. “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes their wishes for privacy and grace.
Morris played two seasons at Michigan and was a standout for the Wolverines. He was third-team All-Big Ten in 2010-2011.
