I know that Andrew will always be an ally of this council in Parliament – spurring us on and helping us to make our case to the Government.
Coun Ross outlined his plan to improve lives for children and young people - who he said ‘bore the brunt of the Covid Lockdown - as well as capitalise on the “rich and diverse hinterland” of sports and arts in Trafford to put the borough on the map. He also highlighted their plan to increase the social housing stock and how he intends to keep the promise to become carbon neutral by 2038.
“We will use every opportunity to grow our economy and to make this borough a safe, green, and inclusive home for all the people we represent. And we will continue the work of integrating our health and social care services to help improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
