Published: Oct. 23, 2023 at 5:15 PM EDTNORTH OLMSTED, Ohio - A new cell phone tower is causing controversy in North Olmsted Community Park. The city says it will help the community, but neighbors are not happy about the installation.
“I think that once the public learns there are different options for the location of the tower I think that would ease some concerns,” says Pinchek. “The reason I am mostly opposed to the cell tower is one the esthetics of having a cell tower in the park that has natural beauty. Another reason I am concerned is some of potential health effects that may or may not be a little vague and what the long term effects of having something like that in the park,” says Krismith.“I think there may be other locations that are a better choice than in out park,” says Krismith.
