Siobhan Garibaldi, who lives nearby, said: “A few instances of antisocial behaviour make you feel fearful about what could happen to you if you bumped into the wrong person. “The new CCTV, better lighting, and refurbishment of the subway have made a big difference, its brought a feeling of greater safety and made us feel proud of the area again.”Having gone live at the end of November, the CCTV has been installed inside and at the entrances of the underpass.The cameras face both directions and capture images on the shopping parade on St Albans Road.
